Highlight:

  • Cycle through Muong Hoa and Ban Ho valleys – Enjoy stunning landscapes and encounter the Tay and Red Dao minorities.

  • Experience local hospitality – Stay overnight at a local house in Sin Chai and connect with the community.

  • Day 1: Sapa - Ban Ho - Thanh Phu - Sin Chai (6 hours cycling) (L, D)
We’ll leave Sapa and cycle downhill on a winding road along Muong Hoa Valley, home to the Black Hmong, Giay, and Red Dao minorities. After a short break in Su Pan, we’ll cycle to Thanh Phu village and enjoy lunch in a traditional Tay house. After lunch, we’ll hop back on the bikes for a mostly uphill ride toward Sin Chai village. In the evening, we’ll have a tasteful dinner and stay overnight in a local homestay.

    Day 2: Sin Chai – Nam Nhiu - My Son – Ban Ho – Sapa (1.5 hours driving / 4 hours walking) (B, L)
The second day’s ride will be a bit easier. You’ll pass through small villages, stop by a local school, and continue cycling to Ban Ho. In Ban Ho, you’ll enjoy lunch in a local house and have some time to swim in the river. Afterward, we’ll take a break with a cup of tea in a Tay house before returning to Sapa to end the trip.

Note: The road from Ban Ho to Thanh Phu and Sin Chai can be muddy and slippery during the rainy season. The itinerary may change due to inclement weather.
