Day 1: Hoi An (L, D)
After a leisurely morning in this old trading port, we’ll take to the bikes for a ride into Hoi An. We’ll cycle briefly to the quaint village of Thuan Tinh, set among rice fields and coconut groves. There, we’ll stop to check out a strawberry garden and meet local villagers. The rest of the afternoon is yours to relax at the beach.
Day 2: Hoi An – Quang Ngai – Sa Huynh (B, L)
We’ll leave Hoi An early in the morning for a transfer to Quang Ngai. Upon arrival, we’ll unload the bikes for a ride from Tam Ky to Chau O Town. From here, we’ll veer towards the coast to start our ride on country roads through Sa Ky fishing village to My Lai (the site made famous by the massacre of 504 locals during the Vietnam War). We’ll travel by bus and bike as the scenic highway follows the coast southward. In the evening, we’ll have a quick transfer to our hotel at Sa Huynh Beach.
Day 3: Sa Huynh – Quy Nhon (B, L, D)
Our bus will pick you up at the hotel in the morning for a quick (1 hr) transfer to Tam Quan, where we’ll start our ride. This is one of the best riding days; the route will take you through rice paddy fields, salt-making flats, fishing villages, and mountainous areas. You’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way. After lunch, Vietnam Bike Tours will continue riding to Tuy Phuoc Town where we’ll meet our vehicle. We’ll drive for about 30 minutes to Quy Nhon City. Then, you’ll have free time in the evening for dinner and exploration.
Day 4: Quy Nhon – Tuy Hoa – Nha Trang (B, L)
The fourth day’s ride is along a unique little road that follows the Reunification Express Railway. Again, we’ll transfer out of town to avoid the main highway and start riding along a remote but well-maintained road running alongside the tracks. We’ll stop at Dai Lanh Beach for refreshments and a dip in the sea before continuing to Nha Trang for our overnight stay.
Day 5: Nha Trang Boat Trip and Departure (B, L)
Following breakfast, we’ll drive to Nha Trang Pier for a morning boat trip. First, we’ll visit the wondrous aquarium and then we’ll head to Hon Mun Island. Afterward, we’ll head back to the hotel to pack our belongings for departure.
