The Cu Chi Tunnels are an immense network of underground tunnels that served as the Viet Cong's base of operations during the Tet Offensive in 1968. They were the site of several key military campaigns during the Vietnam War.

To visit the tunnels, we’ll transfer out of Ho Chi Minh City to Tan Phu Trung village. From there, we’ll ride through rubber plantations and see locals making rice paper and wine. You’ll have time to watch a historical film about the war in 1967 before exploring the battle site. We’ll also go down to the original tunnel, which is 3 meters underground.

For those interested, there’s an option to try some target practice with real guns and bullets. We’ll enjoy a Viet Cong-style lunch of tapioca and pandan tea on site before transferring back to Ho Chi Minh City to conclude the trip.
