Bat Trang - Dong Ho - But Thap Pagoda (L)
We’ll start the day with a quick drive to Bat Trang pottery village. Upon arrival, we’ll unload the bikes and begin cycling around the village, stopping to meet a local craftsman in his workshop. He’ll demonstrate the art of pottery making, and you’ll have the chance to try your hand at creating your own piece.
Afterward, we’ll continue cycling from Bat Trang to Dong Ho, taking a scenic route through the beautiful rice fields of the Red River Delta. Dong Ho is famous for its traditional block-printed pictures. We’ll visit Mr. Che, a craftsman recognized by the state as the “Golden Hand Man,” and enjoy a local lunch with his family.
Following lunch, we’ll cycle 8 km from Dong Ho to But Thap Pagoda, one of the largest pagodas in northern Vietnam. After about an hour exploring the pagoda, we’ll load up the bikes and drive back to Hanoi.
