  • Day 1: Kochi (D)
Your adventure begins in the historic neighborhood of Fort Kochi. At about 14:00, meet your trip leader at the hotel and set off to explore the area by bike and on foot.

For centuries, Fort Kochi flourished as a bustling trading port, attracting merchants from China, Portugal, the Arab world, and Holland. With them came spices, faiths, architecture, and culinary influences that shaped Kerala’s distinct and cosmopolitan character.

This afternoon’s gentle exploration will guide you to iconic landmarks such as St. Francis Church, the Basilica, the Dutch Cemetery, Jew Town, the Paradesi Synagogue, and the Chinese fishing nets - all within a leisurely radius.

This evening, we come together for a welcome dinner at a coastal restaurant, known for fresh seafood and Kerala flavors.

    Day 2: Thattekad (B, L, D)
The day begins with a 07:30 departure. After a transfer to escape busy roads, our cycling starts along a peaceful canal route leading toward Thattekad. It’s an ideal first introduction to Kerala by bicycle-shaded paths, vibrant greenery, and abundant birdlife.

We arrive at Hornbill Camp, a comfortable eco-retreat set among riverside forest. Settle into your Swiss tent and enjoy optional activities such as kayaking on the Periyar River, guided birding, or a leisurely plantation walk.

It’s a beautiful immersion into Kerala’s natural rhythm, surrounded by the sounds of the forest.

    Day 3: Munnar (B, L, D)
Today’s ride follows the Periyar River before climbing gradually into the highlands. The views shift constantly - from pineapple and rubber estates to dense forest and winding rural roads.

We pause for lunch en route before continuing into the cool mountain air of Munnar. The scenery here changes dramatically as tea-covered hills and tall eucalyptus trees dominate the landscape.

This evening, check into your hotel with sweeping mountain views.

    Day 4: Munnar (B, L, D)
Munnar offers some of Kerala’s most rewarding cycling. The terrain rolls between climbs and descents, framed by vast mountain scenery and misty tea estates.

Today, we make the ascent toward Top Station - one of the region’s most spectacular viewpoints. The panorama from the ridge reveals dramatic valleys and layered mountain ranges stretching into the distance.

From here, we descend toward Mattupetty Dam before a short transfer back to town. Late afternoon is free to explore the local market if you wish.

    Day 5: Thekkady (B, L, D)
We depart Munnar and head toward the famed cardamom country surrounding Thekkady. The route offers some of the best scenic viewpoints of the trip, including sweeping 360° vistas over endless tea plantations.

As you pedal deeper into the hills, the landscape transitions from manicured tea gardens to dense patches of cardamom and pepper plantations. A final shuttle brings us into Thekkady in the afternoon.

    Day 6: Thekkady (B, L)
This morning, we set out on a guided walk in Periyar National Park, learning about its rich ecosystem - elephants, birds, smaller mammals, and diverse plant life.

Later, we visit a family-run spice garden to see how Kerala’s famous spices are cultivated and processed.

    Day 7: Vagamon (B, L, D)
Today features a spectacular cycling route linking the cardamom slopes of Thekkady with the serene tea estates of Vagamon. Expect rolling terrain, forest stretches, rubber plantations, and breathtaking viewpoints.

In Vagamon, the cool climate and pristine plateau provide the perfect setting to unwind - or explore. Optional activities include gentle walks, nature trails, or paragliding when conditions allow.

    Day 8: Kumarakom (B, L, D)
We begin with a thrilling descent of about 15 km, watching the scenery shift from hill plantations to fertile lowlands. From there, the route undulates gently before opening into the flat landscapes of backwaters and paddy fields.

By late afternoon, we reach the Kumarakom region overlooking shimmering Vembanad Lake - Kerala’s largest inland waterbody.

    Day 9: Alleppey (B, L, D)
Today is designed as a relaxed cycling day. Enjoy tranquil scenes of canals, fishing boats, village life, rice fields, coconut groves, and waterways stretching into the horizon.

Tonight’s stay is at Emerald Isle - a 150-year-old traditional heritage house surrounded by quiet backwaters and lush greenery.

    Day 10: Kochi (B, L)
Our final ride traces the shoreline toward Kochi, passing coastal villages and backwater inlets along the Arabian Sea. Fishermen working along the beaches and coconut groves line much of the route.

The journey ends with a gentle kayak experience through serene backwaters as we soak in one last glimpse of Kerala’s timeless waterscape.
